General Information

Welcome to the 23rd International Conference on Fast Software Encryption (FSE 2016).

FSE 2016 will be held in Bochum, Germany. Bochum is located within the famous "Ruhr Area", Germany's former primary location for coal mining and steel industry. Although most coal mines have been closed, the hidden beauty of these old days has been preserved in many places.

The conference concentrates on fast and secure primitives for symmetric cryptography, including the design and analysis of block ciphers, stream ciphers, encryption schemes, hash functions, message authentication codes, (cryptographic) permutations, authenticated encryption schemes, analysis and evaluation tools, issues and solutions regarding their secure implementation.

FSE 2016 is organized by the HGI at Ruhr University Bochum and sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR).
